Justin Johnston

31-year licensed commercial real estate broker and long-time principal owner/broker, with 1,500+ closed transactions totaling $2B+ in consideration.
Co-founder/partner in several of Utah’s most active commercial brokerages and contributor to major developments including Thanksgiving Point, Parkway Crossing, Lakeside Landing, Sawmill, and the Provo Airport Expansion.
Known for proprietary off-market deal flow, sourcing undervalued assets through decades-long relationships with owners, developers, and municipal leaders—historically generating 30%+ development-level returns.
Active principal investor with a strong owner-operator mindset, leading initiatives such as the industrial rezoning around Provo Airport and the acquisition/sale of 75 contiguous acres now under development, all while upholding a high fiduciary duty to limited partners.

A finance and accounting professional with over 15 years of experience. JT began his career at Vivint in 2009 after graduating from Utah Valley University. Subsequently, he joined a competitor where he successfully built the finance department from the ground up, implementing processes that contributed to company growth.
Played a key role in increasing annual revenue from $25 million to over $150 million, all while earning his MBA from the University of Utah. Later, as a controller for a mid-sized subcontractor with multiple locations across the western U.S., he standardized systems and reporting processes, facilitating the acquisition of smaller firms.
Leverages his extensive expertise to serve a diverse clientele. He also has a notable background in the United States Army Reserves, where he has served for over 13 years in the Logistics Corps and holds the rank of Major with a local unit in Salt Lake City.
